This Friday, May 7th is going to be the day we get Invasion in the Reach Beta. I’m glad a lot of you have been able to successfully play online with your keys, and we’re still adding new ones for those who didn’t. Anyways, Invasion is going to be a delightful mix of what seems like Ground war and Rush, big maps where 2 teams fight it out, Spartans & Elites. The Elites will get to use some different perks besides the barrel roll, and the Spartans might get some new perks as well.
Halo Reach Gameplay & Pictures
Here’s a video of gameplay as well.
Sorry, my little brother wouldn’t shut up and he has allergys.
The collector edition for Halo Reach has finally been revealed! There’s 3 different Halo Reach products you can buy. The regular game itself, the Limited Edition and the Legendary Edition

This is the Limited Edition bundle. It’s $80.00, and comes with a steel-black ONI case, limited edition Elite Armor, and a journal from Dr.Halsey and various documents and effects that happened in the Halo Universe.

This is the bad boy, the Legendary Edition It retails at $149.99. It comes with a 10 inch tall / 10 pound diorama statue from Noble Team, the games main characters. One extra thing included is the Flaming Spartan helmet, which used to be only available to bungie staff. This diorama is made by McFarlane toys. It will also include everything form the Limited Edition.
This is the limited Elite outfit.

May 3rd is less than a month away, and if you don’t have your ODST disc than you better grab a code from our site and get ready for this! The beta is getting 4 maps, and each has their own playlist.
We’ve learned quite a bit from how the multiplayer maps have been made. They’re maps from the campaign that were designed for multiplayer.
Here are the maps we’re getting, and which game play mode they’re going to follow.
The first two are Swordbase and Powerhouse. These 2 maps will feature “party” game types. This includes the mode Headhunter and Slayer.
After that we’re getting Overlook. Overlook is a level straight from the campaign that will feature the Generator Defense test situation.
The last map we’re getting is Boneyard. The details on the map are scarce, and Bungie has stayed quiet about it so far.

Bungie released a couple of maps from the upcoming beta for us to drool over. Pic below is from “Powerhouse.”
Since the trailer dropped, there’s been a lot of speculation about what changes there are to the new multiplayer beta. The game’s definitely going to bring back our dear friends the Spartans; looks like there are different loadouts and – wait for it – SOME JET-PACKS!
The dudes at Bungie have done it again! Leaked video shows a Chess Mode for the upcoming Halo Reach: Beta game. Some say it’s faked, but we’re guessing it’s gonna be something you can unlock. Would you play it, if only to improve your chess game?
There’s word on the street that Halo Reach Beta screenshots and videos will be coming out soon. Meanwhile, we’re all in the dark as to what sort of platform and gameplay we’ll be getting.
Most likely Bungie won’t stray away from first-person shooter, and there’s high hopes for a multiplayer mode. Bungie’s playing it close to the chest, but we can assume it’ll be based on the same engine as the previous incarnations. We’ll be on the lookout for new footage and to see what kinds of weapons are coming our way.
It’s been 10 years since that first Halo: Combat Evolved game changed everything. Now Lars Bakken, one of the game’s designers, reveals that Halo:Reach is Bungie’s last game in the series.
Microsoft-owned 343 Industries, which was started by a Bungie graduate named Frank O’Connor, will continue the Halo franchise. Meanwhile Bungie has hinted at continuing to revolutionize other platforms.
